Luxury Self Catering Cottage in Shropshire
In the Hills Self Catering Cottage
Rural retreat nestled in the hamlet of Priest Weston, Shropshire
Kick off your shoes, put on your slippers and relax. You have arrived at your countryside break in the hills away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
On the edge of Shropshire against the Welsh border, ‘In the Hills’ is in the small quiet hamlet of Priest Weston nestled up against Corndon Hill overlooking Wales and on the edge of the Shropshire Hills AONB. This is a perfect base for walking the Shropshire Hills, cycling and visiting the local historic towns. Or just to relax and do nothing. Listen to the birds, sheep and countryside and watch the sunsets.
This upside down cottage is suitable for up to 4 people (2 plus 2). The bedroom is downstairs and has a king size bed. Its French doors open out onto the deck overlooking your garden and your pear tree, (you can pick a pear if they are ripe!). The bathroom opposite the bedroom has a bath and walk in shower. Upstairs there is an open plan kitchen and living space with amazing views down the valley. There’s a wood burner, plus a sofa bed if there are four of you staying.
The cottage adjoins the owner’s property, but is totally private. There is your own access with ample parking for up to three vehicles. Your very own garden at the back has a decking area leading to furnished patio with a BBQ/fire pit. You have a herb patch if you are into cooking. There is also a padlocked shed available for bicycle storage.
In nearby Churchstoke there is a supermarket and fuel station that has all the provisions you’ll need for your stay.
Sorry, no pets.

The Owners Kate and Martin
We love the calm and tranquillity of this area having moved from nearby Shrewsbury. Previously we owned and ran an artisan bakery in Shrewsbury and now bake real bread in our wood fired bread oven in the garden. We hope to have a bakery school in the future.
We will leave you to enjoy the space, but if you want us we are just next door if you need information about the local area or anything else. When we are not working we will mostly be gardening or enjoying just living here.

"The accommodation is beautiful and finished to a really high standard. We would definitely come back again. The cakes were a nice touch."
